Claire has had a big December so far. She got her first shots a week ago. She didn't realize what had happened for like five seconds and then she made the saddest face ever and started crying. Other than that, things have been going great. She's crying less, sleeping more, and starting to smile and coo. Smiling and cooing is one of the coolest parts of early parenthood. After having little to no personality other than the sad face for a month or two, your baby starts smiling and cooing at you. It's amazing. Claire smiles and talks the most when you are changing her diaper, it's almost like a little reward for trying to carefully get poop off a cloth diaper before putting it in the washing machine.
